Our physicians use evidence-based criteria to determine the best treatments for optimizing patient health, including palliative and conservative kidney management when dialysis may cause harm due to a patient’s condition. We view dialysis as a bridge to transplantation and work to achieve this goal while optimizing outcomes like home dialysis, permanent access, and planned outpatient dialysis starts.
